Our Softball Strength and Speed Training Helps Athletes…

Boost Your Power in Every Swing and Throw

Strong swings, fast pitches, and throwing far all start with how well you can twist your body. In our Softball VELO program, we train you to use your hips to make more power. This means you'll swing the bat faster and throw the ball harder.

Improve Your Speed and Reaction Time

Our softball-focused speed training helps you become faster, especially in short sprints. We also work on improving your reaction time, which is key for quick fielding and smart base running.

Build Strength and Resilience

Softball is a demanding sport that requires both physical and mental toughness. Our program is designed to build strength throughout the entire body. This helps athletes reinforce areas that otherwise can be prone to injuries. By training with us, players become more durable and can handle the challenges of the game better.

What to Expect in a Softball VELO Training Class?

Whether you aim to gain muscle and power during the off-season, or to stay strong and mobile during the season, our coaches tailor the training to meet a player's needs. Each Softball VELO session includes:

  • Softball-Focused Warm-Up: We start with exercises that increase flexibility and movement. We pay extra attention to hips and shoulders to help prevent injuries.

  • Softball Speed Drills: Our speed training is just like what players face in a game. We work on quick reactions and agility, including short sprints and changing direction fast. We also help improve speed for running bases.

  • Rotational Power Block: Players do explosive exercises, including medicine ball tosses and slams. These help with the power needed for better swings and throws.

  • Strength Training for Softball: The rest of the class focuses on building strength in key areas for softball players. We do exercises for each leg to keep the body balanced. Upper body exercises are designed to increase the power and speed of swings. All this training makes for a stronger, more resilient player.

  • Athlete-Specific Modifications: We adapt sessions throughout the year for in-season and out-of-season athletes, and can adjust for athletes who have other sports or goals.
